Stallings Vol. Fire Dept. is sad to announce the passing of one of its lifetime members, Boyce Baucom.

Chief Ed Deason has retired after 39 years of service, 23 years as chief. His hardwork, dedication to the department and his outstanding service have not only been a wonderful example to his fellow firefighters but will also be sorely missed. Stallings Fire Department thanks you Ed for all that you have done.

Congratulations to William and Becky Stegall on the birth of their son, Elijah Grant Stegall, 7lbs 12oz and 20.5in long.

Stallings Fire Dept. would like to congratulate Bryan Kindley and Heather Mullis who joined in holy matrimony today. The Dept. wishes them a lifetime of happiness together.

It is with a sad and heavy heart that Stallings Fire Dept. announces that it has lost a lifetime member, Don Hefner, after a long bout with cancer.

Visitation will be Saturday,
4-24, at 10am at First Baptist Church in Indian Trail with the funeral immediately to follow.

Stallings Fire Dept. sends its deepest and most heartfelt condolences to the Don Hefner family.
