Honoring Chief Ed Deason June 9, 2010
Stallings FD honored retired Chief Ed Deason at
the last business meeting on June 9, 2010. Chief Deason was present with a
leather helmet with a gold leaf shield to be placed at his residence as well as
a plaque with his retired helmet to be placed at the station. Cake and light
refreshments were served as the department celebrated his 40 years of service
with the department.
