Q: Are the blue reflective signs required and if so where can I purchase a street sign?
A: No the signs are not required, but they are of big help to find the correct house during an emergency, especially at night. Come by anytime to the fire department and request one. They cost $15 and all proceeds go to the ladies auxiliary
Q: Does the fire department issue burning permits?
A: No, various gas stations issue burning permits as well as the forestry service. Online permits may be obtained online via the forestry service at http://www.dfr.state.nc.us
Q: Do fire trucks come out for birthday parties and how do I set up a fire safety event?
A: Yes, we can arrange for a truck to come by a birthday party. You can either come by the station, call or email csalter@stallingsfire.com to set up a fire safety event.
