We have day time coverage 8am - 6pm 7 days a week including holidays. We work up to 6 a day during the week and 3 during the weekend. We also have 2 personnel working 8pm - 6am at night. We are dispatched by CCOM, our dispatch center. Our members carry radios and pagers and respond to either scene directly or station to pick up their apparatus. Members may be running flashers, lights or sirens so please obey all traffic laws and pull over for emergency vehicles. We respond to all fire and ems calls. We offer a bls service via medical responders and EMTs. We have 1 chief, 2 asst chiefs, 4 captains, rescue captain and safety officer and numerous volunteers serving a 18 square mile area. We cover parts of Indian Trail, Stallings, Weddington as well as un annexed areas of the county. We serve mutual aid into neighboring districts and also respond out of county to serve mutual aid.
